Competition monohulls

Multiplast is a major actor in the production of ocean-going monohulls.

The victory of the Multiplast built Groupama 4 in the Volvo Ocean Race 2011 / 12 against the best teams in the world demonstrates the ability of the Multiplast team to respond to the demands of one of the hardest round the world races.

Multiplast was fittingly chosen by the organisers of the Volvo Ocean Race to put a consortium in place to build the one design VOR65. Multiplast is constructing many components of the boats including the decks and the internal facilities for the next 2 Volvo Ocean Races.

For many years, Multiplast has also been involved in other high profile events including the Vendée Globe (Brit Air class champion IMOCA 2010) and the Americas Cup.
