Orange II. She's gone!

Monday January 24 at 10h 03' 07" Gmt, maxi vatamaran Orange II has crossed the starting line near Ushant for her second attempt on the Jules Verne Trophy and the RTW record under sails.
With 14 crew members, the big multihull has started with North-Easterly winds due to a high positionned on Ireland. So, it was full speed and downwind than the navigation has began. And speed, Orange II need it to reach her two targets : the Jules Verne Trophy hold by Olivier de Kersauson on trimaran Geronimo (built by Multiplast) in 63d 13h 59' and the RTW record hold by Cheyenne (38 m long) of Steve Fossett in 58d 09' 32". So, Bruno Peyron and his crew must be back from their 26 000 miles voyage before March 29 at 0h 01' 53'' Gmt for the Jules Verne Trophy and before March 23 at 19h 34' 52'' Gmt for the RTW record.
