Un-run-de-765-millesA 765 miles* 24-hour track !
______________________________________________________________________

With that amazing mileage, Bruno Peyron and Orange II went to write a new page of the offshore racing era. They so demonstrate once again the reliability and high performance of that maxi catamaran design by the Gilles Ollier Design Team and built by Multiplast.
Sure, Multiplast and the Gilles Ollier Design Team were still the world 24-hour record holder under sail done in 2004 by Orange II with 706,2 miles. With that new time reference and an average speed of 32 knots, the legend is on. Gilles Ollier: "...Gilles Ollier Design Team and Multiplast are proud to contribute in that dramatic performance done by Bruno Peyron

and his Team and congratulate them. In fact, we believed Orange II able to run a 750 miles track. The answer is there. But, we are firmly thinking a 24-hour 800 miles run can be reach in a very next future...".
A true affirmation when you know mythic barriers of 500, 600 thus 700 miles have been crossed by boats designed by the Gilles Ollier Design Team and built by Multiplast..
