Multiplast on the podium of The Artemis Transat
______________________________________________________________________
With Brit Air 2nd skippered by French Armel Le Cleac'h and Generali 3rd helmed by French Yann Elies, Multiplast is proud to walk with that two talented "captains" who have been confident with the Briton yard, builder of their boats. Atypical edition, which have seen various weather conditions, it demonstrates the reliability and the performance of the Finot-Conq designs built by Multiplast.
A nice podium in the wake of the winner Loïck Peyron aboard Gitana 80, and a nice award for that two navigators who have not been so lucky since the launch of their boats (April 07 for Generali and July 2007 for Brit Air).
Generally speaking, a true test good for confidence 6 months before the start of the Vendee Globe, race for the one that 2 prototypes have been built. And for Brit Air, her qualification for that event, Generali having succeed in during the B ot B Transat (Bahia/Brasil to Port-La-Foret/France) last December, after the Transat Jacques Vabre.
3 Imoca 60 and a half made by Multiplast for the Vendee Globe 2008

Regarding the half boat announced upper, Multiplast has built the keel of Hugo Boss, Imoca 60 skippered by English navigator Alex Thomson, brilliant 2nd of the recent Barcelona World Race, two handed round the world race without stop.
