Crossing the finishing line at Les Sables d'Olone (France) Saturday February 7, 2009 at 08h 41' 35" Gmt, French skipper Armel le Cleac'h end 2nd of the 2008/2009 Vendée Globe, after an exemplary navigation of 89d 09h 39' 35" aboard Imoca 60-footer Brit Air built by Multiplast. 31 years old, as a rookie, Breton skipper must be considered as an "able seaman".
